Two paid summer placements announced at Edinburgh University – food and communications

Calling all students and recent graduates! Really pleased to announce that the University’s Department for Social Responsibility and Sustainability, in collaboration with EUSA are offering two paid summer placements through Bright Green Placements.

Funfilled food Festival connects Edinburgh

The inaugural Power of Food Festival kicked off the summer with a packed weekend of events and family activities celebrating community food growing across Edinburgh on the weekend of 20 and 21 June 2015.

Food Heritage Trail

The Edinburgh Food Heritage Trail offers a new way to experience the city’s World Heritage Site, revealing some of the hidden links between the city’s unique built heritage and it food traditions.

Join us to celebrate our Charter and new website launch this Saturday at Milton Road Community Garden!

Our wonderful Edible Edinburgh Chair, Councillor Lesley Hinds, will be launching our Charters and this new website at Milton Road Community Garden this Saturday between 12-1pm, as part of the Power of Food Festival. Come along for delicious nibbles and a chinwag about food in our city.

New Saturday market for Leith

The operators of the Stockbridge and Grassmarket markets are set to open a new Saturday market at Dock Place car park starting from 17th July.
